CJC-1295 without DAC (also called Mod GRF 1-29) is a growth-hormone releasing hormone analog. The 'No DAC' version has a short duration, producing a short, pulsatile GH release, which is why it is frequently combined with a secretagogue like Ipamorelin.

Commonly reported dosing by vial size

Frequency: Once daily, commonly at bedtime (some reports use 1-3x daily), subcutaneous · Half-life: ~30 minutes (No DAC form)

Vial size (3 sizes)

2 mg vial + 1 mL → 2 mg per mL

Diluent: bacteriostatic water (as commonly reported)

Volume shown keeps the same concentration as the 5 mg vial; no specific figure was found for this size.

Commonly reported reconstitution steps

  1. Vials are usually brought to room temperature (about 15-20 minutes) first.
  2. 1 mL of bacteriostatic water is added slowly down the inside wall of the 2 mg vial.
  3. The vial is swirled gently until clear, not shaken.
  4. This gives 2 mg/mL. Mixed vials are typically labeled with the date and refrigerated.

Storage

Before mixing: Sealed vials are commonly stored refrigerated (2-8 °C) and protected from light, or frozen for long-term storage.

After mixing: Reconstituted solution is commonly kept refrigerated (2-8 °C), protected from light, and not frozen.

Commonly used within 28 days of mixing.

How it works

CJC-1295 binds the GHRH receptor on the pituitary, amplifying the natural signal to release growth hormone. Without the DAC modification, the effect is brief and pulse-like.

Researched for

  • Studied for short, pulse-like GH release.
  • Studied in combination with ghrelin-mimetic secretagogues (Ipamorelin).

Notes

  • Mostly studied in combination protocols rather than alone.
  • Typical amounts correspond to small volumes on a U-100 syringe.
